Problems with valve stopper ball

Postby Quad » Wed Mar 16, 2011 2:09 pm

Hi,

In august 2010 i bought a new Kahoona v2 but im experiencing some problems with the leading edge stopper ball in the valve. Actualty is completely gone! I noticed a very small tear when i look through it. This is quite annoying at pumping the kite. When i remove the pump its like the same as when i open the deflate valve. Is there anything i can do about this or should i return with it the my dealer?

Greetings

Just do use the flat finger method. Pull the pump out and quick put your finger over the top of the valve. No air will come out, then quickly move your finger and plug the nozzle with the cap. All Done. Valve balls do fall our sometimes. If you are dead set on having a ball and the rear liner of the valve isnt ripped (meaning the ball didnt fall into the bladder) just get one from an old bladder and try to stick it into the bladder.

Maybe someone here can mail you one.
