10M Bully...How much i love thee....

Postby ThePerchik » Sun Oct 28, 2007 8:11 pm

WOW. Today I went to Sandy Hook with my cousin. I am starting out, just got upwind today (Yeay!!!!!!) My cousin is getting ready to learn jumps, he can go upwind no problem, transitions and all the regular stuff. He weights about 130 and i weight over twice that at 280. It was blowing like mad today in NJ. This is the first time it was blowing enough for me to take the 10M out, 15M waroo has been my bread and butter for this entire summer. Both kites are 2007. In the end we ended up sharing the same kite. I would ride a bit (with my new upwind ability) and land the kite, and my cousin would take it. I was riding at 150 RRD BS3 with the kite fully powered on the 4th knot from the end. My cousin was riding fully depowered on the last note on a 134 plywood board that I dont know where he got. I am clearly not an expert but have flown a good handful of kites and this bularoo has insane grunt. I LOVE IT, i would have gotten a 16M Bully instead of my 15M waroo if i knew it was this amazing. I wasn't really sining the kite at all once i got going. Take a look at the wind chart.
