Hey Simon--thanks for the words. Yes, I took a bit of time off from the forums, but it is nice to be back.
I'm struggling with this part of your reply "All the spare should be loosely bunched up towards the tip flap and then the flap folded in."
The strut bladder is longer than the actual strut when the flap is closed. In fact, its about as long as the strut with the strut flap open. So the choices are to fold the strut flap closed with the bladder material contained within it, or to push the extra bladder material up into the strut (so that it is free of the strut flap), and then fold the flap closed. Which one is the proper course?
If the extra material is to be pushed up into the strut itself (and free of the strut flap), do you fold the extra bladder material over itself so that it is the length of the strut, and then close the strut flap inside? Or do you just push the extra bladder material up into the strut casing and then fold the strut flap inside? Is there a proper way to push the extra material up into the strut casing to avoid my bubbling and bursting problem?
Thanks for the help. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Regards,
Scott
