I love the "What size kite are you on...." and "how was it out there".

I have to say at some of my local beaches you really have to hunt down and ask for a launch. It's almost like when they see you need a launch they all of a sudden are in a deep emotional conversation with their buddy and pretend to not even notice you.

Plus, ever try getting a launch from a Pro when the Pro crew invades the beach. Even if noone is around, they are still mightier then god. Of course, when Best was down here, that was not the case. Stacey and Alex will gladly help you launch your Best kite. So, I do admit to saying "hey, can I get a launch". I guess I never was in the cool kite crowd where all you had to do was hook in and 5 people come running to launch your kite.

One thing missing from the vid....the landing. When they land the kite right on top of your head and expect you to catch and lay it down even if you are right in the middle of attaching your lines.

I'm probably the only person who doesn't think this is funny. Julian Fillion should be ashamed of himself ... his opening scene where he forgets his harness earns him an Academy Award for Worst Actor Ever. It's painful to watch. And the one thing that kiters say that is actually legitimate ... "Can I get a launch" ... they beat to death and then make people think it's bad to ask for a launch.

Always plenty of people to help launch or land where I kite whether they watch this video or not and I kite by myself not in a posse.
