Vote & Win a Free 2008 Waroo!

We are in the final stages of developing the 2008 Waroo - it's going to be a sick kite. It jumps higher, hangs longer, turns faster, has better range with idiot proof re-launch and it feels more like the 06. It's the perfect kite for beginners to advanced riders whether you're a weekend cruiser, big air machine, wakestyle show-off or a hard core wave rider. But, we have a dilemma... Do we make it with EZ Pump single point inflation or without EZ Pump? We're leaving it up to you, our customers, to decide.

Plus, if you vote and make a post on this thread (post can just be "I love my Waroos" or anything just so we can see you made a post), you will be entered into a random drawing to win the very first 2008 Waroo off the production lines.

A couple things to keep in mind...

- The 2008 EZ Pump system has been tested hard and improved significantly for 2008. No more screw valve, harder plastic valves and super reliable.

- If we make the 2008 Waroo with EZ Pump, there may be a slight retail price increase compared to 2007.

It's up to you. Please vote and add comments.

there's no difference in repair apart from placing the LE, and weven that is easier to make sure it has no twists because the vlavles help assure you have it placed correctrly,.

Pardon my ignorance, but what happens if you get a bladder leak, say, in the T3 strut - how do you find it without taking the whole thing appart?

I had a herniated T4 today when using my kid's W5m (gusting 45kts here today, narly), took less then 10min to take it out & fix with a patch on the beach behind some bushes, and I was back in the water.

I'm a bit sceptical on the merits of the extra compexity of 1-pump systems, esp as it just takes a couple minutes more to blow up separate struts. I get the convenience, but when something fails, how easy is it to fix???

I'd be really put off by one-pumps. OK with EZ pump it takes 5 minutes less to get your soggy looking kite ready. But the frustration of fixing bladders is close to driving me to set fire to my kite at times and any additional gadjet will only make the process more comlicated. Now thanks to endless practice I can fix bladders quite quickly and no matter what you'd tell me ez pump will make it harder. Oh and by the way its no use telling me it won't happen on a Best design because I gained most of my bladder fixing skills on the small tubes of the waroo 06 thanks to what I call a design flaw where the tube does not fully fill the material cavity. When you have such a great kite (like the waroo 06 was) just keep the rest simple, simple bar, simple gadjets, for simple riders, prices low and a great kite... can it get simpler than that?

nag if one of your struts goes down with EZ-pump then it's exactly the same procedure to remove and repair, there's just one more seal to make and break inside the strut, thats all.

I don't doubt the Easy pump works good, but our beach has tiny little sticks every where. And I'm continuely fixing holes in leading edge bladders for my friends and my self. These one pump systems that my friends have are a real pain in the ass to fix.

I'll gladly sacrifice rigging convinience for the added on-water safety of non-SPI.

I vote NO for SPI... Same reasons stated above, safety over convenience.
